It doesn't take much to imagine how hard it is to lose a loved one to evil acts; whether it be carelessness or murder. When it happens like that; it isn't God's will and it is beyond the means of tragic. A long time ago man asked God for independence, and so that is what we received. But the world has become so broken left in the hands of man, and it really isn't hard to see.
We, as citizens put our trust in authority. But what happens when authority is put into the wrong hands and they end up costing lives. What then? It never really hurts if it doesn't happen to you. Sure, you feel bad for a while, but there is no such thing as unconditional love for the people you don't know. It doesn't really affect you.
We don't know half the evil, twisted, criminalistic acts that happen every second of every day. It isn't healthy to dwell on it, that's for sure, but it is healthy to take time to reconsider what we take for granted.
